He has a ton to work on offense, very good at what he does on offense and improved a ton as a shooter if you look at stats this year compared to last. His tendencies are very glaring and he needs to get a deeper bag of tricks but he will be a very good one and done.

It’s takes real suck to give up under 60 points…and lose by almost 20. In college hoops that is a feat likely not achieved more than once every hundred games or so.

I've never liked telling a player not to shoot 3 (like Jacy Halloway). I've been glad when he's shot 1-2 three's per game.

End of the day this shouldnt be too surprising.

We looked like **** offensively in most of our games this year without Grill, unless gabe was hitting or we got a random great shooting game from someone else. Neither one of those things happened today, obviously.

A miracle we pulled out those 2 wins against Baylor.

Thankfully that season is over.

Had a good run in January where it looked like we might amount to something but I've never had less fun watching a Cyclone team the last 6 weeks in my entire life.

Lipsey strikes me as the kind of guy that will shoot 6,000,000 3s this summer, gets to a respectable 30% and then starts to abuse anyone that thinks they can guard him at the line. I think he will make us proud.

He better. If not, he needs recruited over. Hate to say it because has everything else. I think he will come back next year a much better shooter.

One positive I took from the game is that we're now 2 hours closer to summer

I don't want to over-react, I didn't expect another Sweet 16 run, given the way the past month or so has gone. But that game wasn't any fun at all.

It was awful all the way around. I feel terrible for the players, especially the guys who played their last basketball game.

But, we'll be back. And when TJ has more ringers (like the cavalry coming next year) we'll be something.

Imagine losing after holding a team to 59 points , we just witnessed that. Insane that football and basketball have the same problem

If you think that they only need 1 guy, I think you're very mistaken. I'm very excited for Milan and think he's gonna be a very good player, but I worry TJ won't let him see the court enough if he's not immediately elite on defense no matter how much he could help offensively.

Plus, college basketball is a guard's game more than anything else. Banking on a couple freshman wings doing it all is a mistake IMO.
