Just preparing for the hailstorm of threads later this evening. Figure this could save some space.

Talking points:

*Poor attendance (Dance Marathon jokes appreciated)
*Not rowdy enough
*Not profane enough
*Too profane
*Cyclone Alley Central
*Not enough women
*Too many gingers
*"Back in my day" and related phrases
*Too much cell phone usage
*Not enough signs
*Change ticketing system
*Sell balcony seats to public

I am sure I forgot some good ones here, but that should get you started.

EDIT - Other potential talking points include:

*Curly haired girl
*Flag guy
*Rushing the court

Where is the plan for harassing WV players, especially Harris?

Iowa State Campus.
Im a student, I understand why the students cant or wont come. The dance marathon comments need to stop, that is an amazing organization. But in the first few games there were hundreds of students that got turned away for those games, in the freezing cold. Next year there will be a new system in place that will help fill all the seats. Students are also very busy, cut us kids a break.

Let's let the other side represent themselves as well with gems like these:

I waited in line for an hour for Michigan and didn't get in so I'm never going again
College is so time-consuming that I couldn't work the game into my schedule (test/study/etc.)
You're complaining to the wrong crowd - the students on this board are the ones who go

If that happened I would be so embarrassed to be an ISU fan. The **only** acceptable alternative is to rush their bench with our best mortal kombat moves.

Choose your finishing move:

or

or

"Busy" is a crappy excuse. I had more free time while a student at ISU than any other time in my life.

A) no one is sayng that DM isn't a great event. It doesn't take 31,000 students, though. There should be enough students to do all events.

B) If I can drive an hour each way, deal with parking and the related hassles for each game, all while working full time, being immensely involved in community projects, have actual stresses, like a mortgage and car payments, and full price tickets, I think some kids can walk or take the bus a few blocks to hilton to enjoy their $4 tickets. You know what - I don't usually complain about all of the above because I love going to games. I love it. In 5-10 years those students who missed will realize how easy they had it.

and let me add - I have turned down jobs in areas that would prohibit me from going to all the football games or basketball games due to time and distance. So excuses don't really work to me.
