Interesting that their only TD was a comedy of missed tackles. That was a defensive battle pure and simple. It'd be nice against a stacked box to see a fullback set on short yardage and give him the ball once in awhile.

least it was a win. We will probably drop in the ratings, i am not sold on Iowa's score (21 direct points on picks)
Will be a fun week to see this out. guessing Iowa will be favorite now though.

Thank God we survived, playing like this against Iowa spells disaster. I don’t know if this team goes into Norman undefeated. But maybe Coach Campbell will get the boys to play like a #7 team in America.

It wont , teams improve a lot from week 1 , but this a week 14 teams on the offense side, that came of a long bye week.

At this point if they can get to 8 wins and bowl , I will be happy.

forget hanging with OU, I question if this team can hang with mid tier big 12 teams.

Offensive line was absolutely brutal. Purdy played well. Defense played well. Specials teams outside of our punter played fantastic. Offensive line just couldn’t create any holes.

The talent level with Iowa State and UNI would be like USC and San Jose State and USC is up 16-7 in the 4th.

He isn't. I honestly believe CMC likes early season games like this. It brings the team back to earth after hearing all the preseason hype yet you still get the win.. It is still incredibly frustrating for ISU fans.
