Agree.... but sadly it's the truth. It is a rivalry..... but should be a yearly beatdown.

It works that way for almost every other decent team against FCS opponents. Why can't it happen here? Also said in another thread earlier this week I never like the idea of playing UNI. They play with an extra chip on their shoulders against us that other FCS teams don't, and because we always play extra conservative first game of the season, the games end up being much closer than they should. Trust me - I would have loved for this game to have been decided after the 1Q, but that's never how these games work out.
Do I sound happy? This is how people (coaches too, probably) rationalize a game like that.
Your avatar says you are a cyclone, so I guess. You are welcome !
I don’t know, I think that loss propelled us. Sneaking a win against FCS may not have the same effect.
Never understood the love for Manning. He would probably be decent coaching our TEs and that’s about it

That's not playing conservative. That is playing like trashBecause nobody else decides to play as conservatively as we do against these opponents. I don't know why they're so afraid to turn the page in the playbook - after Campbell being here for year 6 it's not like all our opponents don't know what's in it by now.
Jesus ******* Christ, just jump off the ledge and get it over with.Campbell is just not a top 10 coach, I’m so tired of these September starts
