Our guys need to attack. It looks like all we are trying to do is stop the huge play. I know the bend but don't break philosophy works, but when we have a chance to make a tackle we need to step up and hit the guy.

Mess, you cannot just run the zone-read every run play. Even against KU with our passing game rocking, KU was able to get many TFL by keying on it.

That series was classic. We get a decent gain on first down, then that damn zone read loses 3. Third and long. There are just to many negative plays with the way we run the offense. You have to adapt your offense to your strengths. Our line cannot sustain blocks long enough to run those slow developing plays we run.
