Anyone watch this yet? Pretty well done. I was in boot camp when the Bronco chase was going down. I got out of boot camp and everyone started filling me in on OJ like a month and a half after it all happened. I remember thinking they were joking. Talk about the guiltiest guy on the planet. How him and Casey Anthony that killed her baby down in florida got off of murder is crazy. OJ they basically had every single piece of evidence you would need in another murder trial. Just crazy.
The staircase on netfilx is also another baffling case. his wife "fell down the stairs" and died. inexplicably had multiple large lacerations on her head caused by the stairs? the wooden stairs? with rounded nosings? sure. oh, and guess how his first wife accidentally died?

I’m pretty sure he got off because he didn’t look the type to be a murderer. Old man who wasn’t physically imposing or anything like that. I agree though that the dude clobbered her with something and then threw her down the stairs

SPOILER ALERT: THE STAIRWAY
he didn't really "get off" he plead guilty and with the plea deal he got out of jail because of time already served vial the lengthy trial if memory serves.

I can’t remember the whole thing. Didn’t they have a hung jury and started to retry him and they cut a deal?

The day after the Bronco chase, my brother got "OJ" shaved into the back of his head. Everyone thought it was hilarious.

That trial was a huge joke. Prosecution didn't do a very good job, but they were also up against some great lawyers that would do anything to win. Not to mention the media circus that was going on. The whole thing was crazy. I remember a lot of people saying "he's 100% guilty but will be found not guilty," and sure enough.

There were moments in that doc in which I was appalled.

A few things:

-There was so much evidence, the prosecution seemed to be over confident. That is the only way to explain why they left some of the evidence out of trial.
-The move by the defense to speed up when the trial was to happen worked to a charm. It seemed to have a negative effect on the state's case.
-I can't imagine how upset I would be if I was Nicole and Ron's family and watched the trial become about racism and the LAPD.
-It shows how important crime scene processing and evidence collection truly is. 1 little mistake can ruin the whole thing.

It was unbelievable how fast the prosecution let this spiral out of control
If I'm ever wrongfully accused I want the smartest, most scientifically literate jury possible. If I ever commit a crime I want the dumbest 12 people I can find.
