It appears that SDW could put on another 15 pretty easy. - Could end up with (nearly) a Babb-like frame. Love the length he has! LONG arms!

Babbs frame as young as he is would be amazing. Any highlights yet. After hearing all this stuff I'm getting impatient

Was it true that Percy seemed lazy and just shot a bunch of three's tonight? I'm sorry, but that isn't just disappointing, that's almost spiteful. He knows very well that the spot he will play is the '5' and only the '5' and what the TEAM needs from him. (Yes, I get that Niang makes threes while playing the '5', but that's different). Did he show effort on rebounding or defense? I know its just the CCL and they deserve to have some fun and put up some points, but why wouldn't you work on your 'game'?

Percy was 4/8 from 2 and 2/7 from 3's

I can't believe that people are hating on Percy. He's 6'9". Plays pretty much the 5 solely. He's 260lbs. The CCL is predominately a guard and quick forward game. Percy scores on put backs, in the lane passes from penetrating guards or Niang, or from post moves. Those aren't the type of scoring options in the CCL. His offensive game isn't built or for something like the CCL.

I like Percy but it was fairly obvious he doesn't really care. Edozie is a forward and he wasnt shooting threes. He was playing hard and doing what he does. If you post up they will pass you the ball. I saw improvements in a lot of the players except for Percy. The one positive I saw from him was he looks to be in better shape.

So much guard depth, so little post depth

I guess I'd rather have the guards in Freds system and with Georges and Melvin back at the 4-5 anyway

Could see even more 4 guard lineups this year. At least SDW, Thomas and Kane are all 6'4.

I'm curious on Hogue, has his team played yet? How'd he look?

I can't get worked up about CCL play.

Not enough minutes for someone who scored 67.

Maybe Percy is working on his 3 point shot to stretch the D? If thats the case and he hits a few in real games then he will furhter open things up, anyone think of that?

I'd put the title of my car on Kane getting 30+ minutes/ night.

Agreed, provided they stay out of foul trouble, Niang, Ejim & Kane will be 30+ minutes a game. With everyone else, it's a crap shoot. I am sure Fred will play around with lineups OOC giving a lot of minutes to different guys and wait to see who establishes themselves. It was interesting that Thomas is expecting to fill the McGee role off the bench. I would love to see that. Him, Morris and Bluford off the bench.
