I was so hungover for that game. I swear I had a seat exactly where that camera man was. def, in.

didn't we "score" a td right before half that was later proven to not be a TD? tim tebrink maybe? a tight end anyhow.

0:32 second mark of this video, if you’re like me, you’ll need to fight back tears from hearing Pete’s call. Every. Single. Time. The crushing heartbreak in his voice crack as he realizes Seneca was called short. This one hurt on so many levels, but goddamn we were lucky to have Pete calling Seneca (and Tinsley) games during that era.

And yeah, Seneca was clearly in. F***!

He was in. Left the stadium believing this team had a chance to do something good. It was the most excited I've been after a loss.
It was a weird ‘high’ after the game for sure. Something felt special/different. Seneca was special. I watched the game at a buddy’s house and went straight to my car to listen to Pete and Eric on the postgame.

I don’t get how the entire play happens right in front of the official and he still makes the complete wrong call
Worse yet, he “randomly” marks him out at the 1 yard line. Very obviously blatant. It’s either a touchdown or at the 1 inch line. We lost 2+ feet on the spot.

Because FJ is for some reason trying to look at 4 different things simultaneously (foot, sideline, ball, pylon) and apparently either got no help from LJ, or didn't even ask.

Usually on plays like that, FJ is only looking at ball/pylon. Then, he'll check with LJ, who should be looking straight down the sideline, for in/out.

My seat couldn't have been further away from the play on the opposite side at the other end, but we were convinced Seneca was in!

For the person who said "George's foot" was as disappointing as the Seneca call, I'll add the Paul Shirley "blarge" in the Elite 8 versus eventual champion MSU.
