What concerns me is this is really the first multi-dimensional team. Each team we've played thus far was either really good at passing or running coming into the game. Texas has Ewers and speed in the passing game and frickin Bijan the wrecking crew in the running game. Our defense has done amazing but lacks some speed so having to cover both equally is going to be an incredibly test.

Texas has their D playing really good right now - but we all know how that can be a game-time decision, especially when not facing an Alabama or OU. If they're locked in like they were against OU, we're really going to struggle to stay on the field.

On the bright side - Texas has their wild mood swings so we may have a chance to keep it close.

I also like it being an 11AM road game, could also mess with Texas' mood swings.

I expect pain. Hopefully not in terms of injuries on other side but for my brain and eye balls when we are on offense.

Defensively I think we'll be OK until I do think we get worn down which might be a scenario for the second half of this season on the whole

See the high in Austin tomorrow is suppose to be like 91 degrees. Hopefully the players have been hydrating up this week.

Yeah, I think an excellent defensive effort holds them to 24 or so, which means the offense absolutely must be finding a way to finish.

It feels like this will be one of those trips to Austin when their DL completely outclasses our OL and forces Dekkers to run for his life. We need a really sharp gameplan.

Our biggest weakness on D imo has always been teams willing to throw deep and let their receivers make plays against our CBs. I have a feeling Ewers is going to be putting a lot of pressure on our secondary.
Not to be too snarky, but Dekkers running for his life might be better than throwing and no running. Run, Dekkers, Run!

We have planned an outing with the grandkids. Pumpkin patch at 10:00 am. Then pizza at my daughters house. No cable. My aged heart will thank me. I feel guilt about feeling relieved that I am not going to watch. Damn Cyclones. I really hope our team will approve of my absence tomorrow and perform with fewer mistakes in the margins.

Totally agree
I have seen little to make me optimistic we can score one touchdown, let alone three.
But, perhaps it all comes together this week,
Go clones!
If we can get 8 fumble recoveries like we did in some game back in 2009 we have a chance Don't remember the team tho.

I would think that CMC has done some good work this week coaching the offense. We'll see how much improvement the team has made.
