I certainly don’t think there is validity to Goodman here, but let’s not completely dismiss the idea that Iowa State does indeed have a low payroll and TJ wants to win and be able to retain all of the talent in the program right now. Just assuming he won’t leave is different than making sure he has all the resources possible so he doesn’t. As of now Indiana will have nearly double the NIL budget of Iowa State for basketball.

Hey, let's start a thread for every ISU mention is some random dudes clickbait YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram.
Field of 68 isn't exactly rando click bait. Not saying there is any chance TJ goes to Indiana, but in terms of college basketball media they are near the top.

Also Goodman isn’t saying “Tj will go to Indiana” he is saying they should do everything to get TJ and he should be their first call.

Thread title is slightly misleading.

Not happening. Lateral move. 100% identical situation he’s in now. Would make no sense.
We can say this all we want but like Blum pointed out, they still have a bigger traditional bball fanbase and twice the NIL budget.

I don’t think that Otz is looking, but IMO not an identical situation.

Disagree he makes more than enough money at ISU. He loves this place and Indiana is not a step up at this point.
