Does anyone know where you can park and not have to pay? I haven't had to park in years at the game as we usually ride with my family on our tailgating bus, but I have to work in the morning. Is there any free parking around the stadium? I know last year some of my friends had to park in the residential area north of Lincoln Way before Hilton due to the rain, is that still available without getting ticketed? Thanks in advance.

Depends on how far you are willing to walk. Hy-Vee, K-Mart are nearby... Campus in general... Campus town has metered parking, and street side parking... Between Beach and Ash is usually pretty packed

Park on campus. The bottom deck of the east campus parking garage near gerdin is where I usually park. Upper deck costs, but the lower deck is free on the weekends

For a couple years we have parked either at the Rec Center or in the parking lot by the seed lab which is directly North of the Physical Plant. It is a bit of a walk, but not too bad. The parking is free and wide open. In addition it is relatively easy traffic before and after the game. One can be out and headed home before most folks get out of the lots.

You could park at Tau Kappa Epsilon, it is only $10 and all proceeds go to St. Jude. If I am not mistaken that is cheaper than the grass lots.

Park in a NO PARKING area along a street. It will only cost you $15 if you get ticketed. The general parking lots cost $20.

Used to park on the street east of what is now University and north of the stadium. No idea how early you would have to get there but it isn't too far from the stadium

On the farm, IA
just park in any spot near the stadium with this symbol:

that stands for "free parking, won't tow..."

I was planning on parking at Hy Vee and hoofing it to the stadium. Is that an ok plan? I probably won't get into town until 9 or so.

This. If you get there in time you can park a couple blocks from the stadium.
