yeah thats a decent option or use a courier service. My company uses one and they can move fast but its not cheap.
I think there's one in Minneapolis, were checking into it now. She may drive up tomorrow.

Similar thing happened to my mother in law who at the time lived in St Joes Missouri. She got it 3 days after going up to Minneapolis.

There is a Passport Agency in Minneapolis. We had to stop and get one for a buddy when we were on our way to Canada, when he decided he wanted to come along 3 days before we left. She should have no problem, he got in and out in like an hour and a half.
This. Had to do this last year. Saw passport was expiring and I was leaving in 6 days. Got appt on Monday morning and got passport in like 3 days.
Make appointment online.
Fill out forms before you come in.
Bring passport photo for new passport
Bring expired passport
You will have to come back up to pick it up next week at their willcall.
This. My (now) wife misplaced her passport the week before our wedding and we were leaving for Jamaica 2 days after for our honeymoon. She called up to the Minneapolis office and I cant remember if they took appointments or if it was first come first serve, but she ended up driving up early in the morning and was able to get one that day. Just be certain to double/triple check you have all documents needed in order to get one before heading up there!

This is good advice. I went up there and they told me to come back in the afternoon while they made the passport so I went and played golf. Worked out perfect.
My wife's boss was going to Mexico and figured out that her passport had expired at the last minute and actually drove to Minneapolis and was able to join them. I think her family flew out separately but she was able to fly right away.
If she doesn't have a passport photo, the post office just down the block from the passport agency can take it. She would need to go to the shop in the post office where they sell stamps and supplies.
There is, I had mine in three days from them. I think in emergencies they can do it even faster.
I think you can get a passport photo at most places that do photo processing. I think we got our daughters at Walgreens.
