People like to watch ISU basketball

564,000 people watched the ISU vs BYU game on Wednesday. Making it the highest watched ESPN2 game of the year.
This isn’t the first time that the people have really tuned in to see some “Hilton Magic” this season, as three of the top six rated games on ESPN2 have been Iowa State home games.

ISU had gotten plenty of media coverage that week, with everyone complaining how we'd gamed the NET along with BYU. Hate watches are still watches, though.

A lot of people watched but the national media still doesn’t talk much about ISU. Hell, Palm has Baylor as a higher seed. I rarely hear talk of ISU on national radio. All good though, lets keep flying under their radar

I'm sure part of it is also we were a top 10 team on upset alert for most of that game. That'll bring in a lot of neutral fans.
