Anyone ever have a skin tag removed from their pet?

It doesn't seem to bother my 11yo beagle, but it is on his upper eye lid, and not sure if it will continue to grow/get worse.

I have read up on google that some people have 'tied' them off, but this one is pretty small, about the size of a #2 pencil lead. I have heard of them just being clipped off as well.

It would seem that if it was going to continue to grow, that i should have it removed earlier than later.

Thoughts?

We have a 13 year old cocker mix. He has a pretty big one on his upper eye lid. We've decided that we're not going to do anyhting about it unless it starts to bother his eyesight. We've been told that they would have to put him under whil they do it. At his age, we just don't want to take a risk.
