Player availability after games?

When I was growing up I used to wait near the court and players would come out for autographs. These were the days of Justus Thigpen and Ron Bayless so awhile ago.

Does anyone know if this still happens?

I don't know if they still do it.

But we are from the same era. I used to wait for Thigpen and Alexander and Terry Woods for autographs after games . You'd get the autographs on those folded up game programs that unfolded into a poster (which then were hung up in my bedroom).

They make everyone wait behind seats on the concourse level now. Have for several years.

I’ve seen them come up to where people are waiting for them. Otherwise they just walk out of the building from the court/ground floor level.

Some players come out near Johnny's. But oftentimes the ushers are looking to move spectators to the exits. Last season, it got to the point that we felt like we were about to be trespassed of the promises while waiting for a player who told us he'd come see us after locker room/media duties. Guests of players will have lanyards and get to stay later without the hassle

There is a 10 minute window from when the band is done playing before people will be pushed towards the exits.
