I don't care how bad WV is on D.
ISU closing the game out was improvement even if ugly. Now let's see if they grow more.
I wish OSU were in week 2 of their tailspin.
They seem primed to rebound when ISU 'should' do well.
Would be fun to see ISU football get interesting again these last 3 weeks.

I have to say - exactly this - been denying it but the data is building.
Hope he figures a way to improve this.
Go rewatch the 2015 Rhoads game at Toledo and how that shook out. Toledo won in OT, but my memory of the game is they should have won by 20 in regulation. It was 2 teams both desperately trying to give the game away, like a cheap 3-button coat at the Salvation Army.
Looked it up, ISU had 14 penalties, but Toledo had 8, missed a FG, lots of dropped passes too iirc.
Let's say closing out games is an opportunity for improvement.
