Hate that we have a guy who is terrible in low-spread games vs. a guy who is awesome in them.
Go rewatch the 2015 Rhoads game at Toledo and how that shook out. Toledo won in OT, but my memory of the game is they should have won by 20 in regulation. It was 2 teams both desperately trying to give the game away, like a cheap 3-button coat at the Salvation Army.
Looked it up, ISU had 14 penalties, but Toledo had 8, missed a FG, lots of dropped passes too iirc.
Let's say closing out games is an opportunity for improvement.
