I'm calling 3-0. Seriously. I will put my money on Games 1&2, neither of which are gimmes. At 2-0 game time, Jack Trice is LIT UP. Can't wait to feel that noise. OU is motivated to not lose 2 in a row to lowly Cyclones, but the best fan-base in the country is the difference maker.

I think it'll take 35 to beat Iowa and I don't think the offense will be able to do that. Iowa by a TD.

Hang around with Oklahoma again but we falter down the stretch and lose by a FG.

Crush Akron the next week after getting "humbled."

Lose by a TD at TCU. Fans start calling for Campbell's head.

Lose another heartbreaker at Oklahoma State. Fans start saying Campbell has lost the team.

I'm feeling as positive as anyone about this season, but I'd say if we started 2-1 that would be a good deal. Have to think the Spooners are out for revenge, big time. But I think there's a real chance we beat the TOE, and in their own building no less. Gives our guys a chance for the youngsters in the hospital to get waved at by some real ballers.

I actually think this will be a low scoring game this year. Other than Fant, nothing about Iowa's offense scares me going against the strength of our team. Will our offense be able to move the ball is the question.

I've said it in other threads but if our defense can slow down the run with a 3 man front I think Iowa will be in for a long day. I'm not worried about our offense scoring points. DM will get his and Kempt should be able to exploit a young secondary and LB core.
