Wow......what an awful way to lose and end a storybook season.

I imagine that Drake fans are going what we went through in 2001 right about now.

ISU was a better team in 2001, and would probably have won the national championship, so not exactly the same thing.

If Drake would not have been settling for 3's within 10 seconds of the shot clock throughout the second half, they could have won in regulation by about 12-15 with the way WKU was turning the ball over, mostly unforced.

What a great shot! When Drake looks back to this game, it will be their inability to get a stop and all the missed lay ups they had

I am 4-0 today, so that makes me feel better!!!!

I don't feel too sorry for them. They had a nice season and were the talk of their city/state for a few months. All good things come to an end eventually. That's rough to lose like they did but that's the beauty of March Madness.

I'm talking about the "shock" factor brianhos. Not comparing the talent level of the two teams at all.

Drake played their hearts out, and it sucks they lost, but WKU also played their hearts out. Neither team was more deserving than the other. Great game.

Drake doesn't settle for the 3...that's their game. They simply didn't shoot them well in the first half - that and the lights-out shooting by WKU were the difference today.

Not sure why anyone would be shocked that Drake lost. That W Kentucky team matched up very well with Drake. It is amazing to me how local media influences people. Everyone seems to have thought this was going to win it all for some reason.

I think he is talking about the early exit to Hampton...

That is EXACTLY what I'm talking about. i thought that would have been obvious.

Yeah...way to many bad shots but they did even out until the end.

WKU just shot lights out most of the game and Drake didn't. Emmeneck wasn't as productive getting to the lane and dishing off. That game really sucked! I'm not even that excited about the rest of the tournament.

I know everyone here is tired of hearing about Drake, but what an awesome story. Great kids. And this probably won't happen to them again in awhile. I could have stayed on the bandwagon as long as it was going.

AAAAAAAHHHHH! I'm talking about HOW they lost people! On a last second three-point shot from about 28 feet away! From someone who normally who wouldn't dream about taking that shot!

i'm really not that surprised that Drake lost. I had them losing in one of my brackets. It's HOW they lost. For crying out loud, is it really that hard to figure out what I'm saying?
