Offense:
  • Great plan, scheme and play design by Mouse
  • Didn’t agree with some of the goal to go calls at the end of game, particularly not running the ball but they got in
  • The TD pass to Hansen was a thing of beauty
  • Excited we have more years of Buhr
  • Sama is two steps “too fast” or too soon from his 13 yard run being a 70 yard td. Hoping he devours film and learns to love the hips of his lead blockers
  • Is Alston a potential dude?
  • It’s time to officially give Hansen his propers. He’s a legit back.
Defense
  • Cooper Ebel was outstanding
  • Thought Lovett and James were solid
Officiating
  • There were 2-3 more unnecessary roughness/late hits missed on daU
  • How was a rb pointing at our defender for 10 yards then 5 more seconds in the end zone not taunting?

I thought so too but then it looked like he kept talking/pointing at an ISU player after he'd celebrated a bit with his teammates.
Wouldn't be the first time this year I saw teams get away with celebrating on us.

I’m watching it again this morning. They let Miami taunt our guys all game long. Also, noticed on the first touchdown for burkle they tossed him to the ground well after he caught the ball. **** Miami! Also I hope Freyler is going to be ok.

Has this been shared anywhere yet. I'm killing time waiting for my flight watching everything I can about the game yesterday, and this was a good watch.

I quickly listened through a couple Canes postgame reaction podcasts. They basically said the same things: they win if Cam plays the whole game, fire their DC, they need to get a QB in the portal. Twice in one of them that I caught they called us Ohio St lol. Lots of weird “poor us”, victim mentality kind of stuff exists in their fanbase that I just do not understand at all.

I think everyone understands that if Cam Plays, they probably win. The cool thing about that? nobody is going to care about that in the history books.

We are damaged goods on tackling and stopping the run, so I hope we can get that figured out next year.
Great win and season.

I will have lots of things to say but I’ll say that lots of fans have bashed the Orlando bowl game and after attending the experience has been a delight. The weather has been good, except for some clouds yesterday and today. The team hotel was incredibly nice for the price. The game was fun. There were more fans here than I expected.

My sister and I came with my dad, who probably doesn’t have another bowl game trip in him, and I’m so glad we came even though I thought it would be a bust.

Agree that plan and playcalling for 90% of the game was good. But man, when it mattered most (4th & 4 rollout and throw short to Noel, the whole end of game goal-to-go) it was bad. Like really, really bad.

There were two play calls in the entire game that can be called "bad". However both of them (the pitch play to Hanson and the Noel rollout) have been very successful over the course of the season.

Mouse gets an A+ from me. There were a couple other calls that were genuis.

Were we watching the same game?

What do you disagree with?

We had to convert a 4th down and we left them with a full minute and a timeout... after we had 1st down at the 17 with 2 minutes to go, only forcing them to use 1 timeout.

"Would have won if Ward would have played". Maybe, and maybe it wouldn't have mattered if Higgens and Porter played too. All a bunch of maybes, we deal in reality when it comes to wins/losses.

I won't agree with probably. We've shut down better guys.
