Eerily calm here in Norwalk. Not that dark over to the west yet, but we just got put under the tornado warning. No sirens yet though.

Sirens did go off about 5 minutes ago. Still pretty light here, even off to the west. Wifey still made me round up the cats and dogs and throw them in the laundry room downstairs.

Better go check on them. Could be some shenanigans underway.

Nice how you can't watch digital TV in the storm. Guess I will have to go to the radio to hear about the storm, at least before the transition you could watch through the fuzz. Thanks for reducing safety.

Sirens went off for about 10-15 minutes in West Des Moines. It was constant lightning and rumbling thunder for a while and now it's an all out downpour. We are getting pounded

Tornado threat is greatly diminished, now that the storms are now in a line. Watch out now for winds and some hail along that line. Severity will decrease over the next few hours now that we've lost the sun. Goodnight!

At 9-yr old's softball practice at Holiday in WDM when sirens went off. Spent time in the basement while MrsWx watched out the window upstairs. She saw several funnels out our kitchen window but nothing came down to the ground.

I was in Norwalk for the storms as well. Whole lot of wind, and I think there was a funnel cloud trying to develop. Not really sure. There was a crazy amount of movement and rotation in those clouds, though.

I'm more impressed that you have an Eisenhower dollar than by the hail.
