Sounds like Karl Benson got ganged up on by the big boys. Delany stopped short of saying a non-AQ school would appear in a BCS bowl again over his dead body

And he's absolutely right. Under the current BCS system, the non-auto qualifiers have more access than they would have at any time before to the premier bowls, that almost always chose from the current BCS conferences, and would continue to as those are the ones that bring the most fans, fill the stadiums, and generate the highest ratings.
