Most of these 'morning zoo' DJ types are dimwitted jagoffs who'll do whatever moronic stunt it takes to get the public to look their way and give them some attention. If this turns out to be a suicide and their prank was part of what led to it, I hope these idiots are haunted by their actions for a long, long time.

I know we're civilized and all but I'm gonna throw this option out there

She was killed by the higher-ups and it's "suicide"

It was a prank call. It's not like the conversation was anything terrible. Hard to believe something that minor would result in a suicide.

The butler on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air ran in the olympics for his country and was caught cheating and he had to move to the U.S. to become a Butler.

In the article it says she wasn't the person who divulged the information, so what is there to be embarrassed about?

Hospital officials said Saldanha was the nurse who answered the initial call from the radio station, not the one who divulged the medical information about the duchess, Peter Ashcroft, who is handling media relations for the hospital, tells CBSNews.com.

This brings up a good question. How are hospitals and similar institutions supposed to filter out the real from the fake? It's not like they could ask for the queen's personal info to confirm it was her. Certainly not everything can be done in person...

I find it hard to believe that was the only call they got of someone trying to get information on Kate. It sounds like she was just the one who transferred the call to another nurse - she didn't actually give details. I can't believe any reasonable person would think that the Queen and Prince would just call up like that and ask questions of a receptionist/nurse. My brother was hospitalized once and due to extenuating circumstances, I didn't know which hospital. So I was calling around trying to at least get the right hospital and it was hell to even get them to tell me over the phone if he was a patient, much less any details. And my brother isn't royalty! I imagine the hospital will do some major overhaul on their phone call screening procedures.

It's terrible that she felt she needed to end her life over this.

I don't know what the laws in the UK are but here no one is allowed to give out personal medical info without written consent from the patient.

I don't think they are very many good reasons to commit suicide, but this certainly seems strange :skeptical:
