If these coaches were at USC, Oklahoma, or Texas they would be pounding teams and their fans would love them and their play calling. Players make even predictable play calling look good. They are implementing their system and recruiting their players to run it. If they changed their system to fit the current players, A) We wouldn't be able to recruit quality players to come in and run a system that the coaching staff hasn't committed to B) When they did change in a few years fans would complain that the program lacks stability and call for a coaching change and the whole process would start over again.
