Does anyone have any experience with the subject plans? I currently have an AT&T postpaid plan, but looking into the differences with the above... particularly Consumer Cellular. The coverage maps look good on their site, but I am a little skeptical. I understand that Consumer Cellular uses AT&T towers, but wouldn't have roaming coverage? I travel quite a bit around rural Iowa for work, and my AT&T coverage has improved quite a bit over the year, so wondering if it would be a bad idea to switch to one of the above plans. Thanks!

I couldn’t imagine using anything but Verizon or US Cellular for working in rural IA. It’s a PITA to get ahold of someone that doesn’t have one of those two.

I have ATT for rural Iowa US cellular is best. Verizon is about as good as ATT.

I am happy with ATT as I use hotspot on my phone for internet access.
Dont know what US cellular or Verizon have for prepaid plans. Verizon has crazy legalize exceptions so I steer clear of them.

We went with Cricket solely because they use Verizon towers, but I get 0 service where I used to at my parent's house in semi-rural iowa.

I have US Cellular prepaid. It costs me $25 a month for unlimited talk and text with no roaming charges. I have never had a dropped call in Iowa, Nebraska, or Kansas.

We pay $80/mo after tax for 2 phones on prepaid ATT, 6 GB per phone and the data rolls over 1 month.

We are in DSM and it's been great. Were previously on Straighttalk/Fi & I like ATT better.
