The ISU football team released their projected starting lineup Tuesday. Here is a breakdown:

Offense
Quarterback: Bret Meyer

Tailback: J.J. Bass and Alexander Robinson will share time

Receivers: Todd Blythe, R.J. Sumrall

Tight end: Ben Barkema

Center: Brandon Johnson

Guards: Tom Schmeling, Reggie Stephens

Tackles: Doug Dedrick, Ben Lamaak

Defense

Defensive end: Rashawn Parker, Bryce Braaksma, Tuba Rubin, Kurtis Taylor

Linebackers: Jesse Smith, Alvin Bowen, Jon Banks

Cornerbacks: Chris Singleton, Drenard Williams

Safety: Caleb Berg, Zach, Sandvig, Allen Bell*

This does not make any sense to me. No Scales, sandvig and Bell at safety. Some how I think if they releasded it on tues. it would not have taken 2 days to get on here.

Doesn't make sense to me either. Smith & Hunlley had been at 1's in safety, Bell & Sandvig working at corners....I suspect someone got their wire crossed.

Plus if it was "released" it would be on Cyclones.com as every other official release has been....and its not.

Perhaps that's why it is a student paper

Pre fall depth chart dated 8-4-07. Big differences are RB WR or FB and Safety.
I am not the HC but I would leave a little guessing on the starting 22 until 8-30??
