What is our punt return strategy? We don’t rush the punter, so you would think that would set up a return but nope we just don’t block anyone. I’ve never seen a team try less in punt returns. It can be such a game changer, and since we are so bad it always a game changer for our opponent

Remember though, we don’t need to hire a special teams coordinator. There’s absolutely no reason that special teams haven’t improved whatsoever. I’d also like to see us at least try someone not named Corey Dunn at punter. It’s either a 50 yard nuke or a 20 yard shank

Pretty sure the philosophy is dont rough, don’t get burned on a fake, fair catch, or you aren’t 100% sure you can run up and fair carch without muffing then get away and let it hit the ground.

Campbell never wants a negative play to happen so we make zero play instead.

Not only do we not block anyone, we also don't put any pressure on the punter. The Iowa punter had all day to punt and it was driving me crazy because our guys were not even trying to get at him.

The Woody Hayes approach but for special teams.

For as much as this staff refers to winning in the margins, the team has been woeful on special teams which is pretty much the biggest margin thing.

Feels like Campbell feels we can keep succeeding on small ball, MAC-level concepts. It’s cuckball and I don’t give a flying f*ck if it gets “dumbed” same as I said during last game.

I don't understand why it's apparently too much to ask to just tee off on a team at some point. And yes, I think the offense having a roll going after smashing a goddamned FCS school would help their performance moving forward.

We don’t take risks yet we continually lose the TO margin too

Heacock should be getting three times the pay , he’s carrying three phases of the game

How can the most sought after coach in the whole sport be too inept to realize the need for quality special teams? How can a guy who rams culture and process down his players throats not have his guys ready at the start of seasons. How can he not beat Iowa when even a blind squirrel can find a nut on occasion?

All questions I've dismissed over the years due to success within the conference, but not sure I can forever.
