Purdy played well today. Purdy hasn’t been elite this year but he is doing a decent job. Special teams remains he problem.

He's a great position coach, and a terrible coordinator.

As unspectacular as the O played, it was the special teams that cost us the game. Punting is either bad , or then the coverage sucks and kickoff coverage stinks. At least 10 points and the 2nd touchdown from short range on a 20 yard punt, turned the game around.

I know he has broken all these records, but think about it, we really haven't been QB University. I think he has gone backwards!!!! missing throws, behind receivers, flying out of the pocket. Maybe Manning has made him worse. I don't know. You can disagree if you want, but if my wife says I am right, then I must be on to something!

Brock Purdy is a great competitor. Gave everything he had in this game. He helps make the Cyclones must-see college football. Receiving corps could use another Hakeem Butler.

Backup quarterback always gets run. Future looks good but not now. Brock Purdy is not done yet. Also needs better consistent protection, for crying out loud.

All season the DE's he's faced have been setting out wide and pinching the pocket on passing downs, forcing Purdy to step up instead of scrambling outside. It has been an effective strategy for neutralizing his strengths. He hasn't developed a counter to that yet.

If the offensive line was any good we could just run the ball 40 times a game and play defense. Just pass the ball off of RPO's.

Purdys main issue is Manning. Pretty much everything we do in the passing game minimizes his strengths and amplifies his weaknesses. I don’t know what he’s supposed to do about play design with two viable routes.
