Purple Kitten on S Scoreboard

I doubt it was shown on TV, but I haven't seen mention of it here. Late in the game, with KSU driving towards the south end zone (I think it was the blocked FG drive), a full-screen pic of a kitten laying on a purple scarf was displayed on the video board. I wonder how many people in the stands grasped its significance?

They've started to put static "intimidating" pics on the video board when the other team is trying for a FG. During Cincy, they had a super close-up of Cy.

The kitten on the purple blanket did show up during the blocked FG.

It was incredible. I don't remember us ever using the video board in that manner. Very effective!

Certainly. We “affectionately” call KState the purple kittens hence the picture of the kitten on the purple blanket
