While I enjoy the coverage, the article contains about five inaccuracies and those were spotted on just my first read. Get it together ESPN!

This... you would think especially knowing that Wimberly didn't score a touchdown would be easy. Just look at the box score on YOUR OWN WEB SITE!

Ok, come on. These are very small things. I enjoyed reading an article on ESPN about an Iowa State player. Noticing how important Farniok is to the team and actually writing a full article about it is something that doesnt happen too often on there. Ubben never did this. Whether there were a few mistakes or not, in my opinion it was still a quality read.

We be a funny bunch. I'm consistently at the 50,000' level and either ignore or don't even notice these things. My take away from this article is simply Farniok is a tough-guy and makes our offense better. I should read for the other "content" next time.

Seriously. This was a cool read. Stories like this for any team are always home to a couple inaccuracies. But you don't notice them because generally they aren't about your team. Trotter even picked us to win.

Anywho...It's great to give some love to a lineman. They get little recognition individually unless they screw up. They are usually referred to as "the line" and that's about it.
My take-away is that if Farniok truly is that vital to the offense clicking, then I'm feeling like there's a chance to do some good things yet this year! Starting tonight!

Nitpickers.

"160 pounds as a HS freshman, I know for a FACT, Tom told me he was 165!"

Enjoy our exposure. I bet if you read every article they've written about OU or UT, not everything is 100% accurate. Its more the nature of the articles (getting a lot done quickly) then it is a slight to ISU.

I pretty much assume that there are going to be a fair number of inaccurate items in anything written on a national level. Those guys just hammer things out and move on. Good article in general, and shows how much we need him in games. The fact that ISU was down to the 3rd string center for the Iowa game really showed. Hopefully Tom will be back at full speed very soon.
