Oklahoma wasn’t our worst loss?

Pitt was out rebounded by 21 today (49-28) but they benefitted from shooting 47% from 3 to Miss State's 26% while committing half as many turnovers (7-14).

I imagine turnovers will be flipped Friday and even if they enjoy the same 3 PT percentage edge, that rebounding deficit should haunt them

Not impressed by Pitt. ISU is clearly the more physical and tougher team. Would be a really disappointing loss.

Is Pitt's center going to be out again on Friday? That's an important piece of information that I haven't seen talked about much. Sounded day to day for last night's game so I don't think it was a serious injury.

Need to turn this into a half court game and make them grind out their points. Be patient on offense, and the shots will open up, and then crash the boards.

The thing I don't like about the matchup is that they are similar to Iowa and Missouri in that they don't hesitate on their shots, so if you're letting them get out in transition or are loose in guarding the secondary break, they are going to score.

I think we have a big advantage in size and physicality, so if we are locked in and make them play the game our way, it should look very similar to our games with Baylor.

5 Q1 games all season? What must that be like?

I agree. But if our defense can frustrate them early I think we will be just fine

They are 4-4 in Q1 games. Not 4-1.

I'd rather ISU gains strength in frustrating a team as the game goes on. Obviously getting a good lead out of the gates is good but ISU's at their best when they grind a team out.

I fully expect Pitt to be the opposite of last night in their defense etc. as is true ISU fashion this year.
