The teenage daughter just texted me a link to an article with this headline, "Study: Smelling farts may be good for your health".
She's never been around my husband's brothers. Theirs can make you cry. And they think it's hilarious to come over near where you're sitting and "aim" them at your face.

Sprint has to be owned by the Devil hisself.

What an absolute **** show of a company. T-Mobile shouldn't merge with them. They should let Sprint die a painful death

I agree. My family uses t-mobile and, although the coverage isn't perfect, they're customer service is really good and the price is great. Sprint has the terrible customer service and has for at least 15 years.

A protest just walked by. One sign read, "The Mayor and City Council are to busy to run the city." I guess that one slipped by the editor.

Went to niece's HS musical tonight she was on crew, but I know enough kids that it was still fun to watch. They did Fiddler on the Roof. They did a really good job.

A) Fiddler is awesome...was my senior year musical in HS
B) This reminds me this past weekend, hubby was getting dressed for alumni band. (Official uniform being black pants/jeans and a cardinal colored fleece) Since it was chilly, he wore a long-sleeved black shirt underneath the Iowa State shirt, and I started laughing because I thought he looked like crew for a theater production.

Thank you! The vixen thinks I'm nutty for re-watching games......I have many on DVD and watch them when I need a lift. I am particularly fond of two MBB games - the big comeback against Oklahoma, and the spanking we put on KU at Hilton. (I always re-run Matt's dunk over and over.)

Fave moment to re-watch: Naz's three to tie the game and go to OT two seasons ago against Okie State. Just listen to the sounds.
1) General cheering/hubbub of the crowd as the ball is brought up the floor
2) The silence as Naz rises up and releases the ball
3) The horn at just about the apex of the arc of the ball
4) The initial sound of the ball going through the basket
5) The explosion of humanity inside Hilton. (Eeewwww. Messy.)

Edit: Ack. THREE seasons ago. We had Melvin and DeAndre.

Watching the news this morning, they were outside of a T-Mobile store interviewing people waiting in line for the iphone 10. They interviewed this high school student and I'll paraphrase how it went.

Reporter: Why are you excited about getting the iphone?
Kid: Clout. I just wanna be the first one to get it.
R: How long have you been waiting?
K: Since 10 o'clock last night. I don't mind waiting though. The longer I wait, the more school I'll miss.
R: What features about the new iphone are you most excited about? The screen size? The user interface?
K: The fact that it costs $1000.

In a 30 second interview, this kid said he wanted to get the phone because it cost a lot and he wanted to show it off. Then he added that he didn't care about missing school. Oh, and his parents were there with him.

I wanted to punch them all through the tv.

I completely agree. Add in his reaction/celebration of going all Threesus and it was just all perfect.
