Drew and Aranda are SOOO much better than BU. Aranda will be gone soon...why Drew is still there is a mystery to me.
I think its actually just plain loyalty. His dad stayed at Valpo forever because they were good to him when he was getting his brains beat in on a nightly basis and then Baylor was great to Scott and gave him that big chance when he was nowhere near ready for a job at that level.

In that analogy South Bend is a 3/10 and ND would be the cans. And Gary would be the friend that's a 1/10.
Thanks for the clarification. So basically touchdown Jesus would be perfectly round nipples?

I have no inside info. I will admit I have followed people like MHver3, theDudeofWV, Jason Scheer, and Greg Swaim. I don’t think these people necessarily make things up. I think they are told things by people with agendas and they post it. Problem is it changes in 5 minutes. Also the info is put out there through them for a reason, i.e. they are back channels.

Seems like the PAC 12-2 is doing everything they can to keep it together, just like the Big12 did. This includes strategy around getting schools like ASU to stay with the hopes they can legally stop AZ. But nothing gonna happen til Aug 1 for the Big12 anyway so the new commish can be in control.

Not sure that I'd put Jason Scheer in a category with the other three.

I also think you're giving MHver3 too much credit. As others have said, his whole schtick is throwing a thousand made up things against the wall, generating lots of retweets/follows, and then bragging when two out of the thousand actually come to fruition.

He’s clearly very plugged in on reading rumors and whatever little news there is and then crafting insider rumors that make sense based on those.

You’ll notice he’s never out in front of those - his tweets don’t give you a new sense of what’s happening but they instead make sense based on what’s already been put out there. A good example of this was the recent ASU AD interview. MHver’s “update” after that was about Arizona lawyering up and then about which two of UA, CU, and UU the Big 12 would take.

Also take note of how many times he says “things are changing fast” when he backs away on something. It’s all made up and his story just flaps in the wind based on whichever interview came out that day or whatever someone like Jason Scheer tweeted.

I don't like Baylor as a school, but I do like Scott Drew and Dave Aranda as coaches. Scott Drew coming into the ISU locker room after we beat UNC saying "How 'Bout them Cyclones!" and Dave Aranda kicking that field goal against OU (Lincoln Riley flipped out about) while showing almost no emotion.

It’s very unfortunate that Baylor has good coaches now.

I admit that some Baylor fans have grown on me over the last year because they have been extremely pro-Big 12. All of the so called Angry 8 fanbases have really linked arms out of necessity. It’s like we are FDR and Stalin (K-State) is teaming up with us against ESPN after they invaded Poland. We will hate Stalin again before too long.

Some PAC 12 teams have decisions to make. Oregon State and Washington State do not control their destiny. Corner schools can decide to become members of the possible P3 Conference in the Big 12. Or they can remain and what will likely be the P5 Conference. Reality.
