Does anyone have any recommendations for recording HD? What hardware/software do I need if I want to keep games in HD. And if not in HD, what seems to give the best quality for other formats. Right now I record from my TV to VCR and then connect my VCR to my computer using Dazzle. Then using Pinnacle Studio 12 I create a DVD. I lose a lot of picture quality doing it this way.

Just get a TV tuner for your computer.

Does the recording software allow you to create a DVD that I can then play in my regular DVD player?
You will need secondary software for DVD creation. Right now I just view on my PC so I don't have a recommendation on software.
