I can't imagine the conditions were all that great, right? This seems impressive regardless, but wow.

I clicked here assuming he de-committed.
Speaking of resurections, nice picture. I thought we were done with Snyder, but you brought him back to our pages yet again.

400m doesn’t offer as much translation to football as the 100 and 200 do

Calvin Davis was the previous all-time record holder in the state in the 400 M. He was a pretty dang good player for the Hawks. I'd be pretty surprised if Porter doesnt have a great career at Iowa State simply cant teach that kind of speed.

Concur...strong 400 times implies endurance in running repeated 100's. Equates to four consecutive 11.75 sec 100's. Regardless, will be good to see his 100 and 200 times for the overall speed quantity.

I think he is in the finals for the 100 and 200 tomorrow, so clearly he is fast in the shorter distances also.

Ya I mean who wants a tall sub 47 quarter sprinter in our receiver group? I mean when was the last time we completed a 400 meter pass.

You did notice the he said “as much”, right?

I know, reading comprehension can be a challenge. Those bothersome details, and all that.

Fortunately, Darien is quite fast enough in those aforementioned 100m and 200m races—even if perhaps not quite at an “all time best” pace.

(Unless he does that tomorrow)
