Per a source, East Ridge HS (Fla.) linebacker Brian Mills has committed to Iowa State.

Sorry CW but cannot be true until I get an alert from Rivals. But hoping I do so we can become known as the NEW LINEBACKER U. (replacing old linebacker U which became PedoU

IT IS OFFICIAL NOW - also a 3.4 GPA

You have to like that Navy was also interested. That should mean that Coach Rhoads has found another one where academics are a priority and will be a true student athlete and fine representative of Iowa State.

Read an article on 247 saying he really likes science, and that factored into his decision. Sounds like academics are a high priority for him.

The class is really filling up. Whoever is left better start thinking about pulling the trigger before they're left behind. Get on the Rhoads bus now!

Good list, I noticed this guy as well who is rated 26 on there, lets get him next!

Shawn
Curtis

OT 6-5 270
Orlando Olympia

Curtis has been piling up offers since the spring and has nearly 20, from which he has developed top five: Iowa State, Mississippi State, NC State, Syracuse and USF . So far he has official visits planned for Iowa State, Syracuse and Mississippi State. Curtis has been a consistent piece in the Olympia scheme and a good reason why Armstrong is able to get loose on the outside many times. Also plays d-line.

Awesome to get another guy from FLA. Seems like the Wally connection down there is still going well.
