And since this is in the Football forum, i was referring to football in the '80s. Last I checked LaFester played basketball. And yes, I realize we did have bball success in the 80s.
agree, great secondary. That whole defense was good. Moorehead and Berryman at DE, Curvey and Leaders on the inside, Brown, Dobbins, Roberston at linebacker. Carper was the starter before he got hurt. The main downfall was depth, especially the interior on the D-line. Leaders and Curvy had to play every snap and they wore down late in some games, especially the overtime KU game.
