Fascinating. First glance at his tape suggests he may be just as good as Hammond, the guy who decommitted—but more of a pure NT instead of a 3 technique guy.

Perfect to fill Lee’s place in the rotation after a redshirt.

Nice!
Tapping into the rich NJ recruiting area.
Didn't need to get Rutgers in the conference to do so either.

I'll trust the staff if 4-8 doesn't become the norm. Otherwise, the offer list is concerning.

Maybe we're early on him. Wouldn't be the first time that happened either.
Didn't Marshall beat Notre Dame? So they must recruit a few serviceable players.

I trust our coaches in identifying DL talent. IMO his offer list is an indicator he is a 2-3 year project. He does look stout. Good guy for the middle.

Heck yeah! NJ is very fertile recruiting territory. Just getting an anchor in there is awesome. Not unlike what ISU has done in Florida.

Definitely not early on him given the calendar. But when you have a really good player decommit in December, you get what you can get. Looks to have good size at the very least and some mobility. No doubt he's a little bit of a project, but we don't need him to play right away. I feel like the staff has earned the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the DL. Get him a RS year to work off the extra lbs and then build him back up to 300+. Should be in the rotation in '24.

They absolutely could not go without signing a NG in this class. Not with Orange burning his RS and Deyo moving to OL. If you can't hold up at NG, this whole defense falls apart.
