Regarding NIL's and wrestling, I think Dresser probably will want the wrestling NIL donations to go to the CRTC. Not sure if a special fund will be set up or just go into general fund.

Hope the staff will address this sometime with the other NIL general fund being set up

I have been wondering what the RTC's restrictions are regarding NIL , does anyone know if the proposed RTC regulations have been voting on yet by the NCAA or is it next week ?

I believe that as long as the CRTC coach is not employed by the university and CRTC is not run by the university, the CRTC can sponsor/NIL to student athletes. That is probably a very simply explanation. I am sure it is more complicated than that.

Thanks, so the new rules being discussed by the NCAA in regards to coaching at events where recruits may be present ,like the US Open, is only directed at those coaches employed by the University ? If so, it makes more sense than all RTC coaches not being allowed to coach .

Not sure exactly, but not sure how the NCAA or university would have any jurisdiction over where Nate Carr would coach

If adopted this would prohibit Metcalf and St John , not sure about Fernando .

Has ISU ever landed a big name from the transfer portal? All these "X is now in the portal" posts are like salting a wound.
