I sometimes have problems with the live feed from Cyclones.TV. Keeps buffering. However, I discovered last night that you can fix this by simply dragging the bar at the bottom back about 5 to 10 minutes (so you are actually watching the game delayed by 5 to 10 minutes). But this got rid of the constant buffering. Hopefully this will help others having the same problems.

Tried that. Also tried it in the replay and it was still buffering every 20 seconds. It got so annoying that I had to turn it off.

I tired that too but it seemed like it wanted to either go back live or was still buffering. Not sure since I had no idea what was going on because of the terrible feed.

If watching it on the Cyclones iPad app you get better reception than a laptop; at least i do. But there are problems there too. You have to go to the Live tab, click live video, then go to the schedule tab and click live audio.

I had really good results with the Campbell game, last night stunk. I rewatched the Kansas fb game and it was great. Do not know the answer, but it is sure frustrating

For many of you if you stop downloading porn while the game is streaming it will buffer less.

At least that's what I've heard.

I called my ISP up because it got sooo choppy, they had me ping cyclones.com 50 times and 44 of them timed out. The tech said he had no problems pinging from his office (we're both in Brookings, SD) so he figures there's some routing issue and they were going to look into getting that fixed for me. But if it's happening for a lot of other people, maybe it is on the hosting end.

I had the same issue where the Campbell game was pretty good, but the rest have had issues, and this last game being the worst of all (starting about 10 minutes into the game and the game was pretty much unwatchable after that between the constant switching down to low quality and freezing every 8 seconds or so).

I know it's not my bandwidth as I've got 20 download (though speedtest says I'm only getting 16 - both with nothing running and while streaming Cyclones.tv)

I have been hitting pause for a minute or so if it starts buffering. Then it's fine the rest of the game. I also have to turn down the quality some games, seems like some days my internet connection is worse than others.

I'm relieved to know that I'm not the only one with that problem. I tried slowing the speed but that didn't help much for any length of time.

Now that I know I'm not the only one, I'm starting to get concerned with the service. Has anyone contacted Cyclones.com and got a reply?

Yes, several people sent emails/online issue report and got a reply during the last MBB game. They acknowledged the situation and said it had to do with a network issue on campus that they were having addressed.

Make sure you email Jamie directly. Alos, if we run out of hot chocolate at Trice Friday, email Jamie again

If not satisfied with his response time, email him a third time to inquire when ISU restores their baseball program
