Noticed we had 42 rush attempts to 34 passes. That is something I have been expecting all year. Good things happen when you keep running.

Nope. Running happens because good things are happening. Easier to run when you have a lead.

Good things happen when the ball hits the receiver in the hands AND they catch it. We were playing well in just about every facet of the game today

Short yardage situation....runs for 21 yards and later for 43 yards

I thought the play of the game was on our second TD drive. We were down 14-10 and it was 3rd and 4 and the KU 33. KU had started blitzing Richardson and he had just thrown an incomplete pass on second down. I felt like KU was going to make it difficult for him to complete a 3rd down pass. Instead, we ran the ball and Woody gained 22 yards. I thought it was a great call and something we have been unwilling to do all year--run the ball in a passing situation. I was so happy! I really think we need to show a stronger commitment to our running game, given the strength of our running backs (and weakness of our QBs--but maybe this is over?).
