That would be nice but what if they are happy where they are at and would have only left for an exorbitant amount of money? Maybe we offered and they said no thanks. Maybe Prohm did not think they would be the right fit for what he is trying to do. Hard to say. With the timing of everything I think we put together a very solid staff. I don't think we tried to cheap out by any means. It's not like he hired a bunch of young inexperienced and unproven coaches at bottom dollar.

Yes, all things considered it is an okay staff. Not sure it is good enough to maintain things, but hopefully after a brief downtime good enough to quickly bounce back..

I think no matter how well they recruit there will be some drop off after this year as it is hard to replace what we will lose but they definitely have their work cut out for them on the recruiting trail this next year but until I see differently I think they will do well. Just have to wait and see.

Not really looking to argue with you directly, but I'm one of those people tired of seeing our coaches leave for other places. Put our money where our mouths is. We all want to win supposedly, but no one is willing to open their check books. Farmers got money, you aren't fooling me!

Otz was making $218k at Washington, I think he'll survive with 275.

This is about $150k more than we spent on assistants last year.
