I like it a lot, I have spoken with him in the past and really like his drive. Smart smart guy. Hopefully he is ready for the position. Our history with OCs isnt great so hopefully he can be innovative and explosive. Hopefully he can fill out the remaining staff with some other young guys.

To me confirms Campbell wants someone in that role who will stick to what he wants as the gameplan opposed to an outsider who wants to come in and run their own model; we will find out soon enough. I'm more happy to see we are going to get someone new in to fix the OL.

I'm all for it.

he is a dynamic coach....great recruiter...and i would have to imagine before accepting he made sure he would be able to do what he thinks is needed (i mean, you have to think that as a positions coach at times this year was maddening....we all have been in that spot of "if i were in charge, i'd do....." and you'd have to think that was part of the discussion.

I love Scheelhasse, and think he's a great coach and recruiter.

I'm nervous about having a first time coordinator in charge of a unit that was already struggling in game planning, execution, and game management.

It's possible Scheelhasse was getting looks from other schools to be OC, and only way Campbell could keep him is by promoting him. If that's the case, I agree with the move.

I am liking the Sheelhasse move more and more. Since he has been around, I feel it would be beneficial since he has seen what works and doesn't first hand and maybe he already has fresh ideas how to fix them. Since he is staying the WR coach, besides OL, who else are we replacing on the offensive staff, or did I miss something?

I’m surprised that with the non-growth/ regression at the most important position on the field all the changes are done.
