This would be a great get. Even though Porter committed Miles would give is 4 year player we can red shirt. I don't think we have redshirted a LB since CPR has been here.

Looking at his recruiting list, I see he's being recruited by Notre Dame. Coach recruiting him there? Tony Alford. I believe Tony was on staff at ISU when CPR was here his first go around, right?

I think Tony had two stints at ISU. His name was mentioned in the Denver Post as a possible candidate for the CSU job(CSU Alum).

We really need one more freshman LB in this class. He and Pavlenko will be ready to go when Knott and Klein are gone, and can push our other guys like Seeley and Miller.

An in home visit with THE Paul Rhoads certainly can't hurt our chances. They seemed to have made him a priority and hopefully it works out.

Considering that he has visits listed with UF and ND and not us, I'd have to figure we're slightly behind the curve--unless CPR set one up last night!

Considering Florida and ND have yet to offer (according to Rivals), I'd say we are a little ahead of the curve. Rhoads and Co. are showing they are on the way up while UF had a bad season and ND seems to be spinning their wheels a little bit with a coach that has anger issues.

If CPR is visiting him I would guess he is our today. No way CPR walks into your house and walks out without probably getting the whole house fired up. I assum this kids mom put maximum effort into whatever she cooked that night. The kid probably got his homework done faster and better than usual. Just because Paul showed up. That is how good our coach is.

If I am some kid being recruited by some of the "big dogs" and a head coach and DC of another school came to my house, I would have a real issue with not committing to that coach (pending liking the coach, but it's CPR what's not to like!).

That shows such a huge level of priority and commitment that a team has interest in you, it has to make a kid feel like he commitment would mean a lot to that school.

I hope he looks at the B12 honors today. Wally can mold LB's. Klein who was overlooked by WI named B12 defensive player of the year and Knott named to the 2nd Team who was overlooked by everyone except CPR.

Florida has now offered Schyler as well. It is going to be tough to beat the home state school, but our staff has been with him longer then others. Hopefully he will pick the Cyclones.
