and his blown coverage let Dowling score, so he was involved in all the scoring tonight.
I wonder if that play was just a miscommunication. It looked like the CB was playing zone and Nwapka thought he was playing man.

Lewis Central (Hunter Deyo) is playing Harlan (Will McLaughlin). Both schools are ranked at or near the top, Harlan in 3A and Lewis Central in 4A. Harlan finished 11-1 and state runner up last year. Lewis Central finished 8-2, with both of their losses to Harlan.

Lewis Central is ahead 22-14 in the 3rd (Harlan just scored a touchdown):
Big comeback win for Harlan, 36-29, tough loss for Lewis Central.

After the Harlan TD I posted about above, LC scored another to make it 29-14. Then Harlan scored another and in quick succession another and a 2 point conversion (just guessing maybe the result of a turnover), to make it 29-29.

It wasn’t one of the games they broadcast, and I wasn’t listening, but I assume they kept the score regularly updated.

It looked like near the end probably Harlan scored their last TD to make it 36-29.

Watching some of this on WHO-TV. Xavier Nwankpa is on a different level out there, speed is unreal. Procter is huge and good, but haven't been overly impressed, he's gotten beaten a few times around the outside by Dowling's DE.

Of course the WHO guys jizz on their own faces every time they say "Dowling" but other than that a good watch.

They jizzed on their own faces? This was on Channel 13? Unbelievable.

After Harlan scored with under two minutes left, Lewis Central missed on the last play of the game.

Funny that KCCI showed the score as Lewis Central winning 36-29.

They play Carlisle next, which I see is close to some folks here, but the game is at Lewis Central.

Harlan plays at Grinnell next, and the following week, at home against Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Jacob Imming).

Sears is a Dowling grad, Murphy is VERY Catholic. I suspect that might have something to do with it.
