For those that were not at the game, you can see the new inflatable helmet the coaches and players run out of at the start of the game at www.cyclones.com. Go to the picture of Milan Moses #32 and click for a free 30 second video highlight. There are several video highlights that are really cool including coach Macs post game presser.

The only other school that I know of that uses the same approach are the Hurricanes from Miami and you can see them come out of their helmet Monday night.

Posters on this site were critical of the new tunnel and I too was one of them but was willing to withhold judgment until I saw for myself in person
how it looked. JP is batting 1000% with me, he hit over the fence again with this idea. What do the rest of you think?

I thought it was pretty cool. I just hope they don't hold the team in there too long and kill them with all the smoke.

Yeah... I personally would rather see it be a little lighter on the smoke... it would be cool if it looked more like it was foaming out of the helmet rather than being shot waaaay outward.

I wish they didnt have the camera inside the tunnel just killing the suspense, it would be better if we didnt know it was coming then they just bust out

I was a bit picky initially about the good and the bad of the new entrance. But as I've thought about it and watched the video of it, I've become less critical.

I do agree it was odd having the camera on them in the tunnel with the team more wrapped up in when they were supposed to emerge, instead of getting pumped for the game.

At the game you could see on the video board the camera pointed at Coach Mac holding back the horses. In the fog of the helmet, I thought it was awesome, kind of twilight zone esq.
