I wish there was more of a push to form conferences for college football, separate from the conferences for olympic sports, rather than continued expansion of the existing conferences.
Why should the olympic sports be forced to play in geographically and numerically massive conferences just because it makes financial sense for football?
It'd be the best of both worlds...college football can have their stupid mega-conferences that can force feed their ****** TV networks to the big media markets, while basketball and everything else can form 10-team conferences that make geographic sense, capitalize on historic rivalries, and allow for round robin scheduling.
