My recollection is that idiot punk Smith pushed Wally going into half and Shane gave him what to coming out of half. I am old and don't remember too well.

I know he felt compelled to push a guy who's what, 70 years old? I hope when he finally gets drafted it is by the team with the worst offensive line in the league.

It was also the classless attitude that he exhibited in these and many other situations. He didn't care at all that he had run into Wally. Its what you do after unintentional incidents that reveals your character. In this and other situations, Geno Smith showed his character (or lack thereof). WV had to keep a close watch on him to keep him from getting himself from getting into trouble. Unless he is really good in the pros, I see him not lasting very long, even if he "ever" gets picked (which, unfortunately, he probably will).

I kept yelling this every time he was shown sitting with his head in his hands.

Favorite parts of the first round of the draft:

1. Watching Geno Smith with his head in his hands.
2. Seeing Iowa in a highlight for the #1 pick as Central Michigan beat Iowa.
3. Not seeing Iowa State in any highlights of first round picks from TAM, Oklahoma, etc.

The Bears already have a QB.

They definitely highlighted Tavon Austin's run against ISU, but that was on NFL network I believe.

The only thing Geno and Rogers have in common, is an awkward moment at the draft....

Rodgers still has a huge chip on his shoulder which he may also share with Geno. Some Cal prof told Rodgers maybe he should take class seriously cause he might not make it as a football player, and he sent her some snotty note years later.

I would not draft Geno. Why turn over control of your team to such a bravado character?

As for Teo, he screwed himself with his imaginary gf. Can you imagine all the trench talk when he is on the field? Maybe will be asking what gay it is?

Funny, because he never screwed her.

I kept waiting for it, but didn't see it on the broadcast I was watching.

I heard that Jake Knott's agent is also Geno Smith's. It would be fun to see them together at a client meeting!

Tavon's run was on NFL network, but that was the only ISU game I saw last night. Last year we made a ton of player highlight reels it felt like, but they never mentioned the final score in several of them which was too bad.

I think the Alabama game was far worse. My Mom could move faster when she was 80 and had arthritis. At least you can't knock up a fake girlfriend (maybe Royce should give it a try?).

LOL! You have to love the interwebs. Rodgers never sent her a "snotty" note years later...did you just make this up?? While telling the story you mentioned above, on a radio show in Wisconsin, he said something to the effect, "I would say to her today thanks for putting another chip on my shoulder and I hope you're a fan of mine."

Is that you discount double check? I knew Rodgers was sensitive about what gets said about him but hanging out on college message boards defending his honor is just sad.

Thanks for providing that completely baseless retort. Why didn't you just respond " I like Aaron Rodgers, and my Dad could beat up your Dad!". It would have been just as informative.
