Very Inexplicable loss again in front of a big crowd at HILTON.........Seriously at any big time program,Greg McDermott would be shown the exit door................I know its not going to happen this year but things better change next year and actually go to the NCAA Tournament or he gets fired next year............

Hey they have 2 more wins in conference play than football did. Be grateful for what we have! It could be worse.... well not much, but it could be worse.

What are you talking about? Greg is a great coach. We're young. Wesley transferred. Lucca lost a year. We're this close. Mike Taylor got kicked off the team. All of Wayne's players transferred.

what talent if Brackins leaves.............even with the talent, ISU would still not be scoring enough points to win games with McDermotts Offense he runs

I'll always support the team. I would have been there tonight except my wife is sick. I love the guys that put on the uniform. I have a ton of respect for McD and I wish like heck his teams would put some more wins up. But he is the one accountable and he would admit that as well. I highly doubt this is where he pictured the program at this point in his tenure either.
No, most big time programs don't fire a coach after 3 years. They usually get 4.
If Greg were fired this year, we'd be back at stage 1 with no one wanting to coach here (and get axed after 3 years) and the recruits that are committed for the next 3 years leaving. No Colvin, Dykstra, Staten, Randle...
Personally, I'd rather give Greg one more year. If we finish .500 with 2 conf wins next year, he deserves to be gone.

I am start losing hope for ISU Hoops and McDermott as head coach as I remember watching every game back in the 90's where like every game was a win at Hilton and McDermott came in and that went away big time..................

He leaves, the recruits coming in are like every other recruits everywhere. There will be all these expectations of glory, but they'll just end up like every other recruit. They need time, even Brackins and Fizer took time to turn into big time players.
