Sometimes people just like things that they feel are confidential to stay that way. The only people that can say what is actually happening are those in the room. Not to difficult to just say I can't say who I've talked to even if you know them well. It's not like this is a 6 month negotiation.

If you negotiate a deal in good faith with a candidate and they leave the meeting as Kelly did, only to leak details and further negotiations with other schools after the meeting, then yeah, you should have your offer pulled.
