It's amazing how far that guy has come since his freshman year. Kind of along the same lines as Ellis. He was horrid his first year or 2.

Good for him. It's funny that Jordy Nelson had 200 and some odd yards receiving and our guy still got this honor.

It seemed that Nelson had a LB on him most of the time from being the slot receiver. He was damn good.

Maybe I'm wrong (have to watch the replay), but I thought that most of Nelson's receptions came when he was lined up in the slot position and had linebacker coverage on him. Jon Banks drew most of the coverage. When Nelson was lined up against our corners, he was much less effective.

Regardless, congrats to Singleton. It's nice to have a POW for a change.

And what a great radio interview.....

:biglaugh:

Yeah...that was a bit...odd. The Mrs. was poking fun at both him and James Smith (safety).

I think Singleton has a problem speaking. And I think it was made worse by the high emotions from the win and the great game he had. He was trying to talk way, way too fast.

But...he plays well, so, I guess I don't care too much about his speaking (see Troy Davis).

And James Smith kinda sounds like the Asian terrorist from Team America. :biglaugh:

Good game for him though..so...whatever. ;)

i think both players are deserving on their honors. tuba played great, i isolated on him alot and his motor was running at a higher speed this week than i had seen this season. doesnt surprise me that the coaches noticed. big xii gives honors based on stats, which chris had.

Tuba make it to the pros? What do you think. He is very agile for 323.

I can see this... Big run stopping tackles are big bonus in the NFL and alot of the good ones are getting up there in age... I can definately see someone giving him a shot... I honestly think of all the seniors we lose this year, Tuba might hurt the most. He has been a very underrated part of this defense this year!
